Plunging into "genuine stealth vanning", South Africa.

It really works.... It's not often you get the conclusion in the first sentence, but there you have it.

Travelling with "Eurikaya" in Eastern Europe has given us a new appreciation for the good roads in SA .

Being "stealth" in SA comes with a whole new dimension, the crime stats make it essential that no one knows you are there.

The first leg of the journey is from Johannesburg to East London with one overnight stop on the out skirts of Bloemfontein.

A perfect spot just off the main road.

Taking the time to enjoy the awesome landscape along the way

Stop for lunch at a very quaint restaurant in Smithfield.

After a visit with some friends in East London

A special pancake place with an awesome sea view.

The intention is to make our way down the coast stopping where ever we find pleasant places to spend the day.

One enjoyable surprise.... firstly our journey took us a little further north- up to Morgan bay on the recommendation from some local folks we met in East London.

A spot like this can only be really appreciated by those who love wide open spaces, a view over a turbulent sea far below, with no one around for hours on end.

Only an experienced author could possibly describe the beauty of this coastline, here are a few pictures to entice anyone to go experience it for themselves.

Along the river mouth East London.

Dolphins surfing the waves, a sight that can only be seen on South African coastlines.

Most unbelievable beaches.

Awesome sunsets.

Hours of relaxing therapy.

Lagoon in Plettenberg bay.

Three weeks just can not do justice, to the hospitality of the people, the ocean, the surfers, the dolphins, the whales, lets not forget the awesome South African sun shine.

Suffice to say our appreciation of doing "Stealth vanning" in South Africa has risen to a very exciting level.
