Yearning for a shower by the end 2015.
As we end "stealth vanning" for 2015, due to winter and our return to South Africa
Where are we at on the learning curve?
Stealth vanning continues to rock, so much so we might just consider building one for Africa.
The new wider bed is an absolute hit, now we need to make better use of the space below the bed.
Finding "spots" to sleep is really easy, now "ideal spots" are sought after. These include free WiFi, proximity to shops and transport hubs such as metro stations.
Supplies are required for building shower facilities, solar charging and water on tap. All this will need to be done in the allocated space without sacrificing the stealth aspect.
Somehow the space allocated for kitchen also needs to suffice for showering. The idea had been to open the back doors, thus creating an outside shower area that could be screened off with curtains when parked in the forested areas. As romantic as this sounds it proved to be fairly impractical, finding suitable privacy is not all that easy.
Our next trip into Bulgaria planned for March 2016 will need to deal with some of these needs so as to improve on our already exhilarating adventure.
So the van parked and winterized for the season I am left with a lot of planning and food for thought.
